Spiritual Life Programs
The Emory University Office of Spiritual and Religious Life supports the university's religious and philosophical diversity by providing opportunities to engage with spiritual life on campus through worship, meditation, education, service, social justice, and interfaith engagement.
The Dean of Religious Life works with chaplains, staff, and affiliates representing various religious and philosophical traditions on Emory's Atlanta and Oxford campuses to support a diverse spiritual life program. Undergraduate and graduate/professional student organizations enrich the opportunities for spiritual community and practice on campus.
On the Atlanta campus, the Office of Spiritual and Religious Life has three locations: Cannon Chapel Suite 316 (where the Office of the Dean is located), the Emory Interfaith Center (1707 N Decatur Road, where the other chaplains have their offices), and the Alumni Memorial University Center (AMUC) Suite 125 (which has prayer, pastoral care, and meeting rooms).
Our signature programs include:
- WISE Interfaith Pre-Orientation program,
- Inter-Religious Council (IRC),
- Journeys of Reconciliation,
- Beloved Community Worship,
- International Community Friday Lunch,
- Voices of Inner Strength Gospel Choir,
- Midweek Musical Meditation,
- Anatomy Lab Chaplaincy Program,
