This page contains family funeral and campus memorial service information when OSRL is assisting a family, friends, and the university community with responding to the death of a member of our university community. Emory University expresses its deepest condolences on the passing of Emory College of Arts and Sciences student, and Oxford College alumna, Shreya Gowducheruvu.
Students, faculty, and staff who would like offer or receive support may contact the OSRL contact, The Rev. Dr. Gregory W. McGonigle at gregory.mcgonigle@emory.edu. An initial community support gathering was held on Monday, February 16 at 8 pm in Cannon Chapel.- Thursday 2/19 5-7 pm BCJ Support Spaces, Cox Hall, open to all students

- Friday 2/20 5-6 pm Emory Hindu Life Weekly Aarti Prayers, Cannon Chapel, open to all
- Tuesday 2/24 1-2 pm Oxford Community to remember Shreya Gowducheruvu, Brooks Commons in Cannon Chapel, Oxford Interim Dean Molly McGehee will hold a supportive gathering for the Oxford Community in light of Shreya’s passing, offering a space for reflection and connection.
- Sunday 3/22 7-8:30 pm Community Gatherig to Honor the Life of Shreya Gowducheruvu, Oxford College, Candler Hall. All are invited to this time of fellowship, remembrance, and the lighting of candles in her memory. Please indicate if you will attend and if you are interested in utilizing the extra shuttle service from the Atlanta campus at the QR code on the flyer. Emory University chaplains are available Monday through Friday from approximately noon to
2:00 pm during term in AMUC Suite 125 to offer pastoral care and meet with students, faculty, and staff. All are welcome to visit any chaplain. Drop by office hours or schedule time a chaplain by contacting them directly here.
