2009 Montana Journey
The Montana Journeys trip included visits to the Crow and Northern Cheyenne reservations, and conversations with government officials, tribal elders and religious leaders to gain a better understanding of issues of race, poverty, health and indigenous culture. Participants also learned about how Native peoples relate to a dominant society that has a history of exploiting them.
The Journeys trips are self-funded by the participants. If you would like to help a student have this experience, please make a gift to the Journeys Program by clicking on the link above.
