2001 Bolivia Journey
Health and healing was the focus for the dozen students and staff who travelled to Bolivia May 17-31, 2001. They partnered with Andean Rural Healthcare, an organization that provides health care to rural areas of Bolivia. The Emory group helped to build part of a medical clinic, participated in home visits to the Aaymaran Indian tribe, and met with local community members and religious organizations.
The Journeys trips are self-funded by the participants. If you would like to help a student have this experience, please make a gift to the Journeys Program by clicking on the link above.
